Gotta Dance Enrollment Information

Welcome to our new students and welcome back to our returning dancers. We are sure to have a great year together at Gotta Dance, filled with challenge, accomplishments and progress. We will forge new friendships and have some fun along the way! The information below should answer most of your questions regarding tuition policies, dress codes and such. In addition to the finest dance teachers, we also have a very competent and congenial office staff to help you. Call or stop by if you need further assistance.

Tuition
Tuition may be paid by the month, by the semester, or by the year.
Summer tuition may be paid by the month or paid in advance for 2 months.
Annual tuition payments are discounted by 5%.
Semester tuition payments are discounted by 5%.
Monthly tuition payments are due on the first, past due on the 10th, with a $15.00 late fee.

Additional Fees
Pre B//T & B/T & B1&J1 - $62.00 costume fee (for 1 dance in recital)
Intermediate – approximately $68.00 costume fee (for each dance in recital)
Advanced – approximately $72.00 costume fee (for each dance in recital)
We collect a $30.00 deposit for each costume in November.
The remainder will be due in January.
There will be a $60.00 Recital Fee due in April.

When it is time to sign up for a new semester session, early registration by August 1 will save you money! Contact us for more info!

General
Fall classes begin August 16, 2010. We will observe the same holidays and bad weather days as PISD.

Absences
Please call when it is necessary for your child to miss classes due to sickness, etc. There is no discount for missed classes. Full tuition must be paid each month to secure your child’s place in each class. Until we are preparing recital dances, students may make up missed classes at other students' class times.

Attire/Dress Code

Ballet Class:
Girls - Hair up and secured. Black leotards, pink tights, pink ballet slippers. Chiffon skirts are allowed in most classes. No footless tights, bare legs, or bike shorts please. Winter sweaters, leg warmers and such should be removed at completion of barre exercises. Split sole leather ballet shoes are required for ages 8 and up with crossed elastics.
Boys - White T-shirts with black tights or black pants. Leather ballet shoes with elastics.

Jazz Class:
Girls - Black leotards, toast or suntan tights (matte, not shiny), split sole jazz shoes or elastic inset booties, hair in a ponytail. Jazz pants are allowed. No lace up jazz boots or jazz sneakers please. No bare midriffs or bike shorts please
Boys - Jazz pants, white tee shirts, split sole jazz shoes or elastic inset booties. No lace up jazz boots or jazz sneakers please.

Tap Class:
Girls - Black leotards, pink or suntan tights, black tap shoes, tap oxfords ages 8 and up. Hair in a ponytail, chiffon skirts and jazz pants are allowed in most classes. No tee shirts please.
Boys - Black tights or jazz pants, tee shirts, black tap oxfords.

Modern Class:
Black leotard, footless tights, no shoes are required and no bare midriffs please.
